This is just a terrible choice on Bunkley’s part. The referee’s saw it and he was ejected from the game, and deservedly so. I’m not sure what possessed Bunkley to do this, every time I watch it I can only guess that Boone said something to him as Bunkley was hunched over him right before he kicked him. He will probably incur a fine and a suspension of some sort.
My only problem with this is how little media coverage this is getting. If this was Ndamukong Suh doing this, it would be all over ESPN and they would be debating whether or not he should be kicked out of the NFL or something absurd.
