Michigan football recruit burns letter from Ohio State

The rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State is one of the most intense and bitter in all of sports, and It can bring on some unusual forms of passion.

Even though Logan Tuley-Tillman committed to the University of Michigan back in February, he is still being courted by some of the top schools in the country including his now biggest rival, The Ohio State University.  Obviously happy with his choice of Michigan,  Tuley-Tillman posted this picture on his Twitter account, saying “#goblue #beatohio”

It’s no wonder that the Buckeyes are interested in the the mammoth, 6-foot-7, 325-pound tank, ranked as the 13th best offensive tackle and 109th best prospect in the country, according to

I’m sure all Michigan fans are hoping to see Tuley-Tillman burn up the Buckeyes in the same way he does this recruiting letter.

It probably made it even more contemptible for Tuley-Tillman to see that Ohio State didn’t even care enough to spell his home town of Peoria correctly.

If tOSU needs bulletin board material to get up for a game( esp this game) they obviously need to do a better job of recruiting. That is such an over-used and over-rated expression. Like a coach has to stand in front of his players and gripe , ” we don’t have enough bulletin board material, lets spend a day surfing the web for smack talk so we can win”

Sure it isn’t, that’s why Bo had a shower mat made with the score “50-14″ made for all the players to see as they got out of the shower after every practice after the famous “because I couldn’t go for three” Hayes quote.

Get real, 18-22 year olds guys react to “billboard material”, they just do. But, I would expect you to understand.

I couldn’t help but think Tillman was overrated watching his tape a few months ago. Lets defenders into his body far too often, which is something his high school coaches should have addressed long ago. Furthermore, the level of competition he faces is very subpar, which is another concern given he faces many opponents half his size that he struggles to dominate. I will be interested to see his senior tape to see if he improves.
