Matt Hackett robs Loui Eriksson of an easy goal

With less than one minute remaining in the first period and the Dallas Stars holding a 2-1 lead, Loui Eriksson stole the puck from Dany Heatley, passed it to Ray Whitney, who fed it back to Eriksson and Eriksson found himself out front of the Minnesota Wild practically by himself.  Eriksson made a solid deke and had Wild goalie Matt Hackett completely out of position when the unthinkable happened.  Hackett reached back and managed to swipe the puck right off of Eriksson’s stick before he could put the puck into the virtually empty net.  If you blinked you would have missed it and everyone inside of the arena was utterly dumbfounded by the save.  The Stars would go on to win 5-3, but Hackett might have made the best save of the year.
