Kobe Told Smush Parker He “Needed More Accolades Under His Belt” Before He Could Talk to Him in Practice

In an interview on Dan LeBatard is Highly Questionable on ESPN2 on Thursday afternoon, Smush Parker said that Kobe once told him in practice that he “needed more accolades under his belt” before he could talk to him. The ex-Laker point guard told LeBatard and Bomani Jones that he tried to talk to Bryant after practice about football, but the Black Mamba was strictly professional and cocky.

This doesn’t come as a surprise, as Parker is often mentioned by Kobe and others as being one of the worst players to ever win an NBA Championship and Lakers of all-time.
