Has this ever happened before?
After fielding a ground ball, Tigers reliever Al Alburquerque had enough time to kiss the ball before throwing it to first base and getting the runner.
He’s probably been waiting for this opportunity his entire baseball career.
Update: The Athletics apparently were offended by the kiss by Alburquerque.
