Ryan Day and Ohio State are set to play Michigan this Saturday in arguably the biggest game in history of The Game. Day, who has lost the last games against Michigan, is somewhat being linked to the open Texas A&M job. Billy Liucci of TexAgs is hearing the following about the open Aggies job and Day:
“There is Ryan Day smoke but I’m very skeptical of the Ryan Day smoke,” Liucci said. “I’m skeptical that that’s not an agent drumming up stuff. I will continue to include Ryan Day as a candidate. That’s not who I would expect them to land.”
“That one, there is enough smoke to where I’m like ‘Go lose to Michigan and see if that gets interesting at all.’ I think there are a couple more people, in my mind, that a lot more likely than Ryan Day,” Liucci said.
Certainly something that is worth monitoring.
