Surprising Named Mentioned As A Starter On Michigan’s Offensive Line

Talking with media this afternoon, Michigan OL coach Grant Newsome mentioned Nathan Efobi as a player who has really picked it up and is competing for a starting OL spot:

A former three-star recruit, Efobi committed to Michigan in November 2022, choosing the Wolverines over offers from schools like Georgia Tech and Miami. As a freshman in 2023, he did not see game action. In his sophomore year (2024), Efobi appeared in six games, primarily playing left guard, and earned his first varsity letter.
