South Carolina star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is going to be a highly coveted player to sign by agents when he enters the 2014 NFL Draft, to say the least. On Tuesday, he posted a report on Instagram, that he later deleted, that Jay Z and Roc Nation Sports were already pursuing him as a client. South Carolina is now investigating the matter, but there is no harm in talking to agents, contrary to popular belief.
OK, to clear this up at once, under NCAA rules, Clowney and Jay-Z can talk as much as they want, so long as no agreement, oral or written.

As long as he doesn’t accept any gifts, or agrees to anything, Clowney is free and clear to talk to as many agents as he would like.
