Michigan Receives Prediction For Elite D.C. PG Prospect

Michigan is still working on its 2021 class but the Wolverines are primed for a big-one in 2022. With Jett Howard likely landing in Ann Arbor to play for his dad, Rivals’ Corey Evans believes an elite PG out of D.C. is already leaning towards Michigan. A former AAU teammate with freshmen Hunter Dickinson and Terrance Willams, Evans believes that Dug McDaniel, the No. 35 recruit in the class, is favoring the Wolverines:

My FutureCast prediction for Dug McDaniel was not, in any way, saying that he was close to committing, but I do believe Michigan is the team to beat for the four-star guard. Michigan still has more work to complete in the 2021 class as far as finding another ballhandler and a big man goes, but McDaniel is one of their early priorities in the 2022 class.
