Michigan Close To Landing Former Five-Star UNC Guard?

Averaging nearly 10 ppg last season, Elliot Cadeau, a former five-star and the No. 12 player in the. 2023 class, entered the transfer portal after UNC was bounced in the tournament. Now the 6-foot-1 PG is being courted by many teams including Michigan. Via On3’s Joe Tipton:

North Carolina transfer Elliot Cadeau is one of the top point guards in the portal. I’ve heard three schools mentioned here: Michigan, UConn, and USC but there is likely plenty more. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see a school like St. John’s go after him as they lose much of their backcourt and Cadeau is from the Northeast.

The former five-star averaged 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game this season for the Tar Heels.
