Ilya Bryzgalov ducks shot, results in Montreal Canadiens goal

Ilya Bryzgalov is easily one of the most interesting players in the NHL and his discussions about the Universe on HBO’s 24/7 have become legendary; he even unveiled a Star Wars mask this year.  Unfortunately for Bryzgalov, his time with the Philadelphia Flyers has been pretty forgettable.  His stats have been pretty bad for a guy that signed a 9-year $51 Million deal two years ago.

On Wednesday night during the Flyers game against the Montreal Canadiens, Bryzgalov actually ducked on a shot that was coming at his head.  Sure the shot from David Desharnais was deflected, but Bryzgalov is a goalie, it is his job to stop pucks.  You have to wonder if his time in Philadelphia is almost up.
