Shoe prices hit record highs as Nike releases new $315 LeBron shoe

Much like gas, groceries, and the prices of everything else, shoe prices are on the rise again.

That has never been more evident than with the recent announcement that Nike will be selling Lebron James’ new shoe for… $315! Yes, you heard that right, $315, cold hard cash.

Deadspin and Yahoo are both reporting that along with having the Lebron James brand attached to the shoe, the LeBron X Nike Plus it will also come equipped with motion sensors to tell how high a person has jumped.

The $315 pair of shoes come on the heels of the LeBron 9 PS Elite basketball shoes which sold for $250 and had a metallic gold swoosh on the side.
