Vanderbilt coach James Franklin pretends to make out with player Eric Samuels

Fake French Kiss of The Year in College Football?

After Vanderbilt’s senior safety, Eric Samuels, intercepted N.C. State’s Mike Glennon in the second quarter of the Music City Bowl, head coach Franklin went over to his player to show him some love.

Instead of the typical hug or high-five, Franklin went all fake hand over Samuels’ mouth and pretended to kiss him.

Talk about a good recruiting tactic. Vanderbilt went on to win 38-24.
