Should Michigan Have Been Penalized On Last Play?

The Michigan defense turned away a Mitch Leidner quarterback sneak on 4th down to give the Wolverines a three-point victory and return the Little Brown Jug back to Ann Arbor.

Did Michigan catch a break on the final play?  From the photo below, shared by the Ohio State site, Eleven Warriors, it looks as though several Maize and Blue helmets are lined up over the ball and in the neutral zone.

If refs had call an infraction, Minnesota would have had the ball half the distance to the goal line and been given one more shot to either go for the touchdown or kick a tying field goal.

As you may recall, Michigan looked to be on the wrong end of  a blown call on the last play against Michigan State.
