Michigan Close To Flipping 4-Star Texas QB Commit Zach Gentry?

That Michigan is looking for a second quarterback in its 2015 class has become apparent. Whether it’s uncommitted McLane Carter or current Texas commit Zach Gentry, the new staff wants to add another QB in the 2015 class along with Alex Malzone.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, Coach Jim Harbaugh recently had an in-home visit with four-star and the eighth best QB prospect according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

Gentry, a 6-foot-7 and 238 pounder out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, committed to Texas back in May. However, with the nation’s top duel-threat QB, Kyler Murray, a current Texas A&M commit, taking a visit to the Longhorns, you can understand the sudden interest.

Update: Rivals’ Chris Balas just tweeted that Zach Gentry will visit Michigan this weekend.
