Harbaugh Gives Update To Wilton Speight’s Practice Status

It’s unclear whether Wilton Speight will return from injury to play again this year. However, based on these comments from the Michigan headman, the redshirt junior is pushing for a return after breaking three vertebrae:

“Get healthy – that’s where most of his efforts are being concentrated. He’s at practice. I know he’s champing at the bit. His bones (are) healing back together. It takes time. He’s been a good teammate. I know he’s champing at the bit. Via Landof10.com

It would likely be the end of the year (Maryland, Wisconsin, Ohio State) when Speight could make a return.
