Did Chris Webber Take A Shot At Jalen Rose Over ‘Fab Five’ Documentary?

Chris Webber was on Wednesday’s edition of The Dan Patrick Show. The former No. 1 pick out of Michigan was asked by DP about the’Fab Five’ ESPN 30-for-30 documentary, which the 42-year-old Webber did not take part in.

While Jalen Rose, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson and Juwan Howard all had producer credits on the film, Webber says he wasn’t involved because he was told of it a week before it was set to be filmed.

Here’s the quote from the segment that appears to be a shot at Jalen Rose

“A lot of people…after they retire or they’re looking for a job or they want to be relevant…they go back in time and kind of…make sure their importance is really known……when one guy has a million highlights of himself…as if he was the leading scorer and all the stories are embellished, it’s hard for me.”
