Hope Solo Takes Shot at Brandi Chastain on Twitter

Hope Solo has been making a lot of news lately, frequently for the wrong reasons. She admitted to being drunk during the Today Show back in 2008.

After beating the Colombian soccer team on Saturday, 3-0, Hope Solo took a shot at the NBC’s color commentator, Brandi Chastain, through twitter.

It’s safe to say that Solo was not too pleased with what Chastain had to say about the USA Women’s Soccer Team. Chastian, famously known for showing off her sports bra after her 1999 PK against China, was critical of the play of Solo and the team’s defense.

Even though the team is headed to the quarterfinals, it’s a little disappointing to see the team’s starting goalkeeper and one of the star players saying this about a former member of Team USA. Let’s keep the conflict down on both sides, what do we say girls?
