The Avalanche And Wild Get Extremely Chippy, Punches Thrown Between Benches

The Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild were rather hostile towards one another on Saturday night. It started when Avalanche forward Cody McLeod took a shot at Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk and he took exception to it.

It escalated further when Avs coach Patrick Roy sent McLeod out at the end of the game to take a shot at Mikael Granlund. It escalated even further with Avs captain Gabriel Landeskog throwing a punch at Wild captain Mikko Koivu while both were on the bench. Not a good look for the Avs here.
