Mike Rupp loses skate blade during shift, crawls to bench

Minnesota Wild forward Mike Rupp was skating into the zone to forecheck when he collided with Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Nick Leddy and slammed into the boards.  The hit jarred loose the steel skate blade, leaving only the plastic tuuk.  In case you didn’t know, it’s extremely hard to skate without the steel of your skate in it.  Rupp ended up crawling back to the bench while his teammates laughed, and ended up putting the Wild offsides.
