Max Pacioretty Gets Primary Assist On Steven Stamkos Goal

Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty has been having a very good season and is a very good player but this was a mind numbingly terrible play. It won’t go down on the scoresheet for him, but his awful drop pass was the primary assist on Steven Stamkos’ (officially) unassisted goal.

This serious miscommunication gave Stamkos a prime opportunity to unleash his cannon of a shot and he didn’t hold back on Carey Price with this rip. Stamkos is not the type of person you want to give that kind of time and space to.
