Matt Calvert dangles Jimmy Howard in shootout

After beating the Detroit Red Wings 3-0 in Columbus, the Blue Jackets traveled to Detroit to finish the back-to-back games.  Columbus jumped out to a 2-1 lead through two periods, but Detroit tied it 25 seconds into the third period on a 5-on-3 powerplay.  The rest of the third period and overtime would go scoreless and a shootout would be needed.  After Pavel Datsyuk scored and Ryan Johansen’s nice move, Matt Calvert decided to pull out a slick dangle from his bag of tricks and help give the Blue Jackets the win.  Calvert was 0 for 4 in his career on shootouts, but he used his quick hands to get Howard to bite on his fake.  Howard slid out of the net, and all Calvert had to do was bring it to his backhand to slide it into the open net.
