Joe Thornton scores a ‘Datsyukian’ shootout goal

Jumbo Joe hasn’t played particularly well since getting a new 3 year, 6.75 AAV contract extension a week ago, but he has been clutch. Thornton (no points in his last 4 games) scored an OT winner last week against Minnesota and this shootout tying beauty last night.

I guess Joe has been practicing these two moves lately, though he didn’t execute it as well:
