Jimmy Howards rumbles with a St. Louis Blues player

Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard lost his cool on Tuesday night after getting run into by Blues winger, David Perron.

Howard was a little upset with the contact from the forward, although it appeared that Perron was pushed by a Red Wings player into Howard. Nonetheless, Howard still went after Perron and caused a rumble behind the net.

The Wings goaltender responded after the game saying, “I’m not taking that. If you’re going to try and run me like that, you’re going to pay the price.”

Howard also had a second period assist to Johan Franzen, but it was the Blues who recorded their second win over the Wings this season, 3-2.
