George Parros hits head on ice during fight, knocked out cold

During the first NHL game of the year, there has already been one serious, scary injury.  Montreal Canadiens forward George Parros and Toronto Maple Leafs forward Colton Orr squared off for their second fight of the night after a scrum in front of the Canadiens’ net.  During the fight Orr slipped and Parros fell over the top of him and his chin slammed on the ice.  Parros was out cold and was eventually taken off on a stretcher.  Toronto went on to beat Montreal 4-3.
