Daniel Alfredsson Scores GWG with .04 Seconds Left in Overtime vs. Penguins

The Red Wings picked up a much needed win on Thursday night at the Joe against the Penguins. Daniel Alfredsson, who had a nine-game goal drought before tonight’s game, banked in the game winner with just .04 seconds left in overtime incredibly after Detroit got a 3 on 1 with less than ten seconds remaining.

Hopefully this sparks some future success for Alfie and company; if not, the Wings’ record 22-year playoff streak could be coming to an end.
