Coyotes Goalie Mike Smith Falls Behind Net, Ducks Score

This goal is pretty much Arizona Coyotes goalie Mike Smith’s season in a nutshell. Smith went to play the puck behind the net when his feet went out from under him. Then, defenseman Zbynek Michalek fell on top of him, making it impossible for him to get up in time to stop the puck. Joe Vitale did the admirable thing, getting down on his knees in the net to try to stop the puck, but it was to no avail as Kyle Palmieri buried a shot past him.
