Scarlett Johansson’s ‘SodaStream’ ad banned by Fox for Super Bowl

Super Bowl Sunday won’t feature the beautiful Scarlett Johansson, and that’s a shame. Due to three words “Sorry, Coke and Pepsi,” uttered in the Johansson’s recent commercial with SodaStream, the ad won’t be shown by Fox during the Super Bowl.

SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum was understandably not too pleased with Fox’s decision, telling USA Today, “Which advertiser in America doesn’t mention a competitor? This is the kind of stuff that happens in China. I’m disappointed as an American.” Safe to say Birnbaum won’t be the only viewer disappointed not to see the ad.
