Charlotte Observer cartoon mocks Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton

Cam Newton is probably wishing he hadn’t been sulking on the bench at the end of last Thursday night’s loss to the New York Giants.  Since then he has been ripped by the media, and been openly criticized/advised by his teammates.  This cartoon in the local paper is certainly not going to make him feel any better or help him move on anytime soon.  Newton seems to be the victim of his own success as a rookie, with expectations far higher this year.
