Saturday Night Live spoofs John Tesh’s “NBA on NBC” theme song

On Saturday night, Vince Vaughn hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time in 15 years.  SNL took the audience back to the NBC Sports offices in 1990 for one of the funnier sports related skits they have ever done.

According to SNL, John Tesh and his brother “Dave” created the “Roundball Rock” theme song for NBA on NBC with lyrics that the executives hated.  The lyrics were hysterical and went: “Ba ba ba ba ba basketball gimme gimme gimme the ball because I’m gonna dunk it!”

They did a phenomenal job spoofing one of the most famous theme songs of all-time.
