Young Red Sox fan introduces himself to Prince Fielder after non-fan Interference call

The Tigers’ Prince Fielder was not all too pleased about the non-fan interference call while trying to make a catch on Jarrod Saltalamacchia’s foul ball in the bottom of the 9th inning. Even though a fan was touching his glove on the play it was probably the correct call.

One Red Sox fan introduced himself to the first base after this blunder with a wave and a simple “Hi Prince Fielder.”

Saltalamacchia would end up driving in the game-winning run on the very next pitch and getting a Gatorade shower with Erin Andrews after the game.
