Target Field Unveils Self-Serve Beer Stations

The MLB All-Star game will take place at Target Field and just in time for the festivities, they have unveiled self-serve beer stations. Unfortunately, this does not mean that you will be able to have unlimited beer for the entire game. There will be attendants checking IDs and you cannot get more than 48 ounces in a 15 minute span.

The machine is called DraftServ and you will have to have money preloaded onto a card to get beer, which will be charged by the ounce. Budweiser and Bud Light will be 38 cents per ounce, while Shock Top Lemon Shandy and Goose Island 312 Urban Pale Ale will cost 40 cents per ounce.

It’s a pretty cool idea and will help cut down on lines, though I’m guessing that the machines won’t make the process go much faster.
