Royals player collides with security guard

During Friday night’s Baltimore Orioles – Kansas City Royals game, the dangers of being on a field during a baseball game were apparent when Royals third baseman, Mike Moustakas, collided with a Baltimore Orioles security guard.

Orioles’ Robert Andino hit the fly ball that made Moustakas, left fielder Alex Gordon, and shortstop Alcides Escobar converge to foul territory.  Meanwhile, the security guard who had been sitting, tried to get out of the way of the foul ball, only to go directly into the path of Moustakas.

Luckily, neither guy was injured from the incident.  However, the security guard is lucky Moustakas is only 6 ft, 210.  This guy better watch out when the next time Detroit travels into town and big Miguel Cabrera comes running his way.  Heads up, buddy.  That’s the day to drink more coffee.
