Indians Complete Sweep Over Tigers After Walk-Off Balk By Al Alburquerque

If there was an odder way to lose a baseball game, Iโ€™d like to know it. ย In the bottom of the 13th inning, after intentionally walking Yan Gomes to load the bases, Al Alburquerque, who had replaced Phil Coke in the inning, was called for a balk after he ever so slightly moved his head and glove while facing Ryan Raburn.

The Tigers had entered this series with the Indians having won 11 straight on the road but after Wednesday afternoonโ€™s loss to the Tribe, they are now on a three game losing streak.
