Homer Bailey drenched in Powerade after throwing no-hitter against Giants

Cincinnati Reds pitcher Homer Bailey threw his second ever no-hitter Tuesday night against the San Francisco Giants. Bailey, who has MLB’s most recent no-hitter back in September, was reaching 97 MPH throughout the ball-game. In the ninth inning, Bailey got Brandon Crawford to ground out, he struck out Tony Abreu, and then the final out, Gregor Blanco, to bounce out to third.

The only walk that Bailey gave up in the game was to Blanco in the seventh inning. Bailey is the the 27th player to have multiple no-hitters in MLB history, and the second Reds pitcher (Jim Maloney and Johnny Vander Meer are the others).
