Frank Thomas Sues Reebok Over ‘Big Hurt’ Shoes

Frank Thomas, the one time slugger for the Chicago Whitesox, is filing a lawsuit after Reebok  re-released the ‘Big Hurt’ shoe without his permission last year.  The shoe company reportedly brought back the shoe during its 2013 “Classic Retro Campaign,” but without Thomas’s consent. Thomas was signed to Reebok from 1995-98 when Reebok used his “Big Hurt” nickname on a variety of its products. Thomas is asking Reebok to stop selling the shoe and pull off any shoes on shelves.
