Chris Sale Breaks Bat in Dugout after Giving Up Grand Slam to Mike Trout

After giving up a grand slam to Mike Trout during Saturday night’s game against the Angels, White Sox ace Chris Sale wasn’t too happy. Sale cruised through the first seven innings without allowing a hit, but then gave up five runs in the eighth, four of them earned and coming on the grand slam.

If there are extra bats available, why not take one and smash it on something out of frustration. I’d do it too if I played for one of the most underachieving teams in baseball.
