Atlanta Braves acquire shortstop

The Atlanta Braves have swapped shortstops with the Toronto Blue Jay’s. Yunel Escobor goes to Toronto Blue Jay’s for Alex Gonzalez. This is an upgrade for Atlanta who has been lacking production from the shortstop position. Gonzalez gives them power with 17 home runs already this season and is a steady fielder. This trade should work out in the Braves favor.
