Violent hit in Swedish League results in ton of blood

This violent hit from Richie Regehr (Los Angeles Kings defenseman Robyn Regehr’s brother) should result in a suspension. Linkoping HC and Modo were playing in a game on Wednesday when Linkoping’s Sebastian Karlsson got caught in the neutral zone with his head down. Regehr clearly made no move to play the puck and targeted Karlsson’s head with his hit and Karlsson paid the price dearly. He was leaking pretty well before he was sent to the hospital and Regehr was kicked out of the game. Karlsson was discharged from the hospital and is currently doing okay.
