Minnesota Beats North Dakota in Frozen Four Semis with .6 Seconds Left in Regulation

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are headed to the Frozen Four Finals on Saturday to play against Union College, thanks to a goal by Justin Holl. The senior defenseman got the puck with roughly six seconds left in regulation and while shorthanded, followed up the play and put the puck home with .6 seconds left. It was remarkably Holl’s first goal of the season, and it came in a timely manner.

It’s nice to see hockey back on ESPN and John Buccigross did a great job on the call.
