KHL Hockey Player Concussed After Fans Drop Him While Celebrating

These fans are a bigger buzzkill than Buzzkillington. Barys Astana of the KHL won their first ever playoff series last week after sweeping Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the opening round. When the players finally arrived home fans were excited to greet them and forward Talgat Zhailauov had to deal with the brunt of it. They tossed him up in the air but then conveniently forgot to catch him, causing him to suffer a concussion. No word on how much time Zhailauov will miss, but this is textbook on how not to celebrate. Note to all athletes, don’t let your fans pick you up and toss you.
