Erin Andrews Joins Fox Sports

Erin Andrews has made the shift from ESPN to Fox Sports.  Her contract ran out earlier this week and she chose not to re-sign with ESPN.  College Gameday will now have a huge void to fill, and her sideline reporting will be missed on ESPN.

For her new role at Fox Sports, Andrews will host a primetime College Football pre-game show and will have major contributions for Fox Sports NFL and MLB coverage.  While her on-air visibility will be diminished, this is clearly a huge new opportunity for her and hosting a pre-game show will be a big step up from merely contributing to College Gameday and hosting the first hour of it on ESPNU.

Andrews leaving adds to a growing group of women that have already left ESPN, including Dana Jacobson and Michelle Beadle.
