Washington Players Get Pranked by Coach Chris Peterson

New Washington football coach Chris Peterson played a bit of prank on his players by revealing a crazy new uniform concept.  “Thank God, that’s terrible”, yelled one member of the team after Peterson announced it was an April Fools joke.

“The reason we were named the Huskies, they found a homeless dog coming through the campus. This is the original sketch,” Petersen says of the helmet logo. “I know it’s goofy, but this is what it looked like back in the 1900s. We really want to emphasize the dogs. We might not wear them every game, but you’ve still got the number on the back big, small on the front.
