Urban Meyer Throws Shade At Kyle McCord For Transferring Out Of OSU

After news hit that former OSU starting QB Kyle McCord had entered the transfer portal, former Buckeye coach Urban Meyer, now an analyst with FOX College Football,  had the following to say about McCord, who is apparently considering Nebraska, Miami and others:

“That made no sense. I’m still trying to comprehend it. There’s no place better for Kyle than Ohio State. That place does not exist, unless he’s being guaranteed a starting spot… I’m not ripping Kyle at all, because I don’t know him. I admire him. I guess I love Ohio State, and I think competition brings out the best in you.”
