Texas Tech unveils “Never Quit” themed uniforms

The Texas Tech Red Raiders unveiled their new “Never Quit” themed uniforms for their game against Kansas State on November 9th.  The uniforms themselves are pretty good looking and the “Never Quit” name plate isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever seen, but the helmets are atrocious.  Not only do the helmets exclude any sort of Texas Tech logo, but they say “never quit” literally all over them.  Overkill much?  Head coach Kliff Kingsbury has final say on uniforms, so you have to wonder what exactly he was thinking here.
