Former Stanford player says Te’o used to ask them if they knew his girlfriend

Matthew Masifilo is currently a defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He went undrafted out of Stanford last year, and took to Twitter to say Te’o is the victim.  Masifilo has nothing to gain by speaking out so it makes you wonder if Te’o was really duped.

I don’t think anyone will ever know the real truth to what occurred between Te’o and Lennay Kekua.  It would be interesting to see if he asked other Stanford players if they knew his “girlfriend,” or if it was only Masifilo, who is also from Hawaii.
