Solomon Thomas, a prized defensive end recruit from Coppell, Texas, committed to Stanford on ESPNU during National Signing Day. Thomas made his commitment to Stanford on national television by pulling out a miniature tree and saying, β€œI will be playing college football and graduating from…..Stanford University.” Thomas is rated as the 25th best player in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Big pick-up for the Cardinals.
