Desean Holmes, a four-star wide receiver, committed to San Diego State back in 2015 but wasn’t with the program for more than a week.

According to 247sports’ Steve Lorenz, Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines have reached out to the Pasadena, California native and are looking for him to visit in the near future. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder also tweeted the following on Thursday:

Lorenz also notes that Holmes is cousins with Darnay Holmes, the top cornerback and No. 8 overall recruit in the 2017 class.

Darnay Holmes told 247sports that David Long Jr., a 2016 Michigan pledge, is his best friend.  The five-star cornerback is expected to visit Michigan this summer.

Things certainly could get interesting out West for the Wolverines moving forward.
