Conner Stalion, who is reportedly the staffer behind the sign-stealing operation and having people watch other B1G games and record them, apparently had a transaction on December 30th, the day before the OSU – UGA Championship Game, that went to a recruiting intern:

As one Twitter user noted, it isn’t illegal because it is just an advance scouting a National Championship game:
