While rumblings were that Texas and Ohio State were the favorites to land five-star top 10 recruit Felix Ojo, the No. 1 player in Texas announced for Texas Tech on July 4th:
BREAKING: Five-Star OT Felix Ojo has Committed to Texas Tech, he tells me for @rivals
The 6’7 290 OT chose the Red Raiders over Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, & Florida

Texas Tech, which has been crushing the transfer portal and 2026 class, has quite a bit of NIL funds to pass around, apparently.
Expectations should be sky high moving forward for the Red Raiders if they can continue this type of recruiting.
